TEKELL FAMILY HOMES is a family owned & operated building company based in Cockatoo Valley SA, servicing the Gawler and Barossa area for over 30 years. We offer quality building services for those looking to create or renovate their ideal family home.
David and Julie Tekell created ‘D.W. & J.A. Tekell General Builders and Contractors’ in 1990. For many years they have been providing divers building services at the highest standard to Gawler and the surrounding region. David and Julie’s son, Michael Tekell, has been involved in the building industry from a very young age, regularly helping his dad on the jobsite as a teen. Michael officially started his apprenticeship with his father in 2007. In 2013, Michael traveled interstate to gain even more experience. He started working for a reputable building company in WA, learning many new building techniques.
In 2015, Michael joined the company and the name changed from ‘D.W. & J.A. Tekell General Builders and Contractors’ to ‘Tekell Family Homes’.
Over the years we have built a solid reputation providing a wide range of building services, including custom new homes, extensions and renovations, to the highest quality. We promise our clients attention to details and a personal, hands-on approach from start to finish. We focus on your unique, individual needs throughout the process. Instead of dealing with a sales person, you will be in direct contact with the builder, who will work with you every step of the way.
